- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I went in because I have a broken tooth. I sat in the waiting room, languishing in pain for 45 minutes. I had to ask if someone was going to see me. I am a transgender woman and I was misgendered by everyone in the office, from the receptionist to the technician to the dentist even after I asked them to stop. I was asked to do something that further damaged my tooth and cause me more pain, and all this pain and humiliation for the dentist to look at it and go "Yep it's broken." Of course it's broken... I knew it was broken and that's the reason I called you in the first place. As I left, they had the stones to ask me If I wanted to set up another appointment only to tell me that they couldn't do anything for me and I had to talk to an oral surgeon. Why the hell couldn't you have told me that on the phone and saved me the trouble? Is it just so you could charge my insurance for the x-ray? I wouldn't go back here if it was the only dentist in town. Going there was a waste of time and as I left they had the stones to ask me if I wanted to set up another appointment.June 18, 2017by Stephanie Matthews
